How will schools be selected Schools 

  • Will have to apply themselves for PM SHRI Yojana by visiting the official portal. 
  • The online portal will open once every quarter (four times in a year) for the first 2 years of the scheme. 
  • After this physical inspection will be done by the team of government officials and the claims of the schools will be verified.
  • Under the scheme, a maximum of 2 schools (one primary, one secondary or senior secondary) will be selected from each block. 
  • The final decision will be taken by an expert committee after a full inspection. Selected schools will also guide other schools around them.
